GCMAGIC POTLUCK FLYER _2_
GCMAGIC has collaborated with Art+Potluck Project
to host a FREE writing workshop and potluck dinner.

28 May, Sunday
4pm – 8pm
Vantage Apartments Clubhouse
21 Ross Street, Benowa

As part of the Knowledge Is Power Project, Dr Heba Mohtady Ali will be facilitating the first workshop on Creative Writing as a tool for increasing resilience in the face of Domestic and Family Violence.

You are invited to bring a dish to share for the potluck dinner after the workshop. The dinner will include an “open mic” format to invite guests to share their special creative talents. Enjoy the sharing of stories about writing experiences, bring your favourite pen, show off your stationery collection, share a letter you have sent or have received, produce origami creations, and you can even just write or draw on the spot! Feel free to bring your talents with you — singing, dancing, poetry, acting, music, meditating, all creative things you wanted to do; there is always room for everyone to share the spotlight.

The workshop will begin at 4pm and conclude at 5:15pm.
Dinner will commence at 5:30pm.

This event is free to join but please bring a dish to share. Please share this invite to friends, family and colleagues and enjoy an evening potluck with pen and paper.
More details will be sent to those who register.
