gcmagic-kicksOff
GCMAGIC kicks off the year with a series of contemporary art and craft workshops, beginning 17 January.

This initiative is both for artists who wish to share their practice through conducting or facilitating workshops, and for those who wish to participate as learners of art practices (participants), including those who are wanting to satisfy their artistic appetite for more creative arts practice.

By joining these workshops, participants will benefit by:

  • Taking further steps in their practice in contemporary and creative arts.
  • Developing individual and group art works.
  • Expanding their community and arts networks.
  • Utilising art in addressing issues of isolation, depression and any form of solitude.

Dates & Duration
The duration of each workshop is between 2.30 and 3.00 hours. The series will commence on 17th January on ‘Introduction to making ceramic and clay’, a two-session workshop.

*Succeeding workshop details will be announced soon. To keep updated on future workshop schedules, please send an email info@gcmagic.org.au.

Location:
Workshops will be held at the shared building of GCMAGIC & One Arts Gold Coast located at the corner of Verona Ave, Isle of Capri, Surfers Paradise.

Fees:
The estimated fee is $15-$30 for each session depending on the facilitators’ fees. We will provide most of the materials for the workshops.

As there are limited spaces for each session, we suggest immediate registration by sending an expression of interest to info@gcmagic.org.au on or before Friday 13th January.

We also appreciate your assistance in spreading the word about this initiative to your network.
